Yesterday I made my debut for Framingham Rams and into college soccer with a game on the road against UMass Dartmouth Corsairs. And what a game to make an entrance in; 28 free kicks, 8 yellow cards and 1 penalty tells the story of a very intense game, which ended with a draw 5-5.
After being ruled out in the two pregame matches due to an ankle injury I started the game as a striker, scored 2 goals and won a penalty.
Already in the third minute we were behind after a corner kick, then in the next 25 minutes made it to 3-1 in a half that ended 3-3. The story repeated itself in second half with a quick goal to the Corsairs, us coming back, Corsairs up once more before we equalized to the final result 5-5 8 minutes before the final whistle. All in all a fair result.
